Bio
About April…
After having had enough of brutal Chicago winters, April drove out to Los Angeles with her Rottweiler, listening to the Harry Potter audiobooks all the way. Although her intention was to appear on Network TV, she somehow ended up doing theater, representing products on home shopping channels world-wide, and eventually producing her own film projects — and in a strange twist of fate married a guy who grew up a few blocks from her childhood home that she first met in LA.
She took a hiatus to produce her two children and, though she was pregnant in one of the films with her son and pregnant with her daughter when the movie was on its festival circuit, she is currently not pregnant. She shifted into narrating audiobooks while raising her children. In addition to voiceover, April picked up a few additional talents during her hiatus: she became a certified Pilates instructor, she completed one children, fantasy book and is on the first of a children’s fantasy trilogy; she also became known (in her circle of friends) for decorating incredible cakes (including an R2D2 cake that talked).
She is a natural-born cheerleader who wears her heart on her sleeve but may surprise you with her sugar & spice sense of humor.
